The LowDown… will take you on a journey that embodies the music influenced by Rock and Roll, and the birthplace of North American music.

In 2014, lead vocalist and Virginia native, George Cameron set out to bring that Southern Rock sound north of the 49th Parallel.
He named this musical entity SOUTHBOUND and the band set out dedicating its efforts to Southern, Classic and Country rock.

It wasn’t long before Southbound started to realize that there isn’t a huge thirst for Southern or Country rock in the lower mainland.
As Southbound, the band was getting comments from the audience such as “don’t you play anything we know?” That served as a wakeup call.
A lot of the music was just not recognized or danceable… so a shift in focus began and our new name was born.

As The LowDown, the bands direction has taken a full 180. Over the last year, all new music entering the bands song list is totally recognizable and danceable and it is a welcome change.
Every night the band receives praise and totally positive feedback.
The audience feeds off the energy on stage and the band in turn feeds off the energy from the audience.

We give you The LowDown on all the greatest danceable party hits across all decades and genres covering everything from the The Foo Fighters to The Hollies… an evening with The LowDown will have you dancing to some upbeat Classic Rock all night long.
Just like our website name says… THE LOWDOWN ROCKS!
